In Qatar, students have the opportunity to study for free as the institute is encouraging domestic and international students from every corner of the world to learn first-hand about Doha as well as its culture and history. It is possible to receive a scholarship for a Master’s or a PhD degree program offered by the Institute at either the Masters or PhD levels.
It is not necessary to have IELTS or TOEFL scores in order to apply as Applicants will be seeking to receive an unconditional offer of admission in order to be considered for the limited number of scholarships that the institute is offering for the 2023 academic year. It is the policy of the institute to offer fully funded scholarships on a yearly basis that are intended to cover various expenses while candidates are enrolled in the course.

Eligibility criteria of Scholarships for International Students in Qatar 2023
Listed below are the criteria for receiving a scholarship from the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies for 2023;
- Students from both domestic and international universities are eligible to apply for this program
- Scholarships cannot be combined with other forms of financial aid or grants
- As the Institute reserves the sole right to withdraw scholarships based on performance, candidates must maintain very good academic performance.
- Applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree in order to apply for a scholarship, but there is no specific age requirement Bachelors can apply for Ph.D. programs while Masters can apply for PhD programs.
- Applicants who have received Institute Scholarships in the past are not eligible to apply.
- The Requirements for Admission must be met by all applicants.

Tamim scholarship: Qatari and international students can apply for this scholarship based on their academic merits, and if they meet the requirements for admission to the Doha Institute of Graduate Studies they will automatically be considered for this scholarship.
Sanad Grants: Based on the financial need of students who do not have employment, whether they are employed by the government, semi-government or private sector, as long as they are able to provide a certificate stating that they are not employed by the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs or any other parastatals of the Government or the Private Sector.
