There are around 50 scholarships that are awarded each year by the University of Twente to outstanding candidates from both European Union/EEA countries and countries that are not affiliated with the EU/EEA countries who wish to study in the Netherlands in order to obtain a Master’s degree. Financial Coverage of University of Twente Scholarships
As a recipient of the University of Twente Scholarship, you will receive:
- Over the course of a year, this could range from € 3,000 to € 22,000 per person.

Eligibility CriteriaÂ
UTS Scholarships are awarded based on the following criteria:
- A minimum of 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT of 90) is required for Academic IELTS, and you must also achieve 6.0 on the speaking skills sub-score (TOEFL iBT 20).
- All countries in the world are eligible
- Scholarship applications at the University of Twente are separate from those for course entry. It is necessary to obtain an admission letter before applying for funding.
- The UT Master program for the academic year 2021/2022 (September) has been (provisionally) admitted to you. In some cases, you may have to wait up to eight weeks for the results after completing your application.
- It is necessary for you to have a student number.
- No UT (undergraduate) degree has been awarded to you;
- (If applicable) You meet the entry visa requirements for the Netherlands;
- There is no Dutch study loan available to you;
- An excellent student can apply for the University of Twente Scholarship. A student in this category usually ranks among the top 5 to 10 percent of their class
